It’s been 30 years, people…

… Don’t you think it’s time we celebrated?

FC30 is a day-long celebration and affirmation…A celebration of all we accomplished together with the launch of Fast Company in the Fall of 1995—the difference we’ve made, the impact we’ve had, the friendships we’ve forged. An affirmation that the ideas and values we championed 30 years ago matter now more than ever—in business, society, and our daily lives.

We’re planning an event that’s as smart, engaging, and fun as Fast Company itself. Much of the day will be devoted to laughing about the glory days, catching up with former colleagues, and renewing old friendships. But as we exchange hugs and smiles, we’ll also exchange ideas. There will be panel discussions, Q&As, opportunities for one and all to share what they’re excited about, what they’re worried about, what they’re working on. It’s the Fast Company spirit of “serious fun,” or, in this case, a “picnic with a purpose.”

QUICK OVERVIEW OF THE DAY

12:00-2:00 PM | Arrivals and Lunch

2:00 - 5:00 | Group Discussions

5:00 - 6:00 PM | Cocktails

6:00 - 8:00 PM | Dinner

FC30 takes place on Saturday, October 25, from Noon until 8 PM. The venue is a 50-acre estate in Waltham MA called Gore Place.

We will be in the Carriage House, a beautifully renovated building that dates back to 1793. If the weather is great, we can throw open the doors and stroll around the grounds. If it’s cold and rainy, we can stay warm and dry inside.

We know life is complicated and people are busy, so you don’t have to arrive right on time, and you don’t have to stay to the bitter end (although we hope everyone does both). We’ll start with an informal lunch and end with cocktails and a buffet dinner. The formal “programming” will run from 2PM to 5 PM. The rest of the day will be fun, games, and lots of time to reconnect and reminisce.

THE COST

We’ve worked hard to plan an event that is worthy of this amazing group of people, with a welcoming venue, good food, and fun surprises. We’ve worked just as hard to keep costs to a reasonable level. A ticket price of $300 per person allows us to cover the budget (barely).
